How do you charge for a temporary employee? The cost to hire a temporary is based on the job requirements and the experience of the temporary. We bill only for the hours worked.

In addition to our database of over 75,000 Chicago area candidates, we have extensive experience in direct recruiting; we have memberships with the top internet recruiting sites; we have a far reaching presence in the regional yellow page directories; we regularly attend job fairs and we publish our current openings with classified advertising.

How does Banner effectively learn about the corporate culture and environment of our clients, in order to make good matches? Our process begins with an in depth client profile that is taken over the phone. A Banner representative will then arrange to tour your company facilities to better understand your corporate culture.

What is included in the hourly rate? The hourly rate includes employee's hourly wages, employee payroll taxes, liability insurance, clerical costs, workmen's compensation, and unemployment compensation.

What happens if I am not happy with my Temporary? All Banner placements are guaranteed; if within the first four hours, you are not pleased with the services of your Temporary, notify Banner and we will not charge you for the four hours worked.

How fast can you fill a temporary position? Based on the requirements of the assignment; for many positions we can have an employee in your office within one hour. Most openings can be filled by the next business day.

Can I call the same day I need temporary help? Absolutely.

Can Banner fill unique temporary positions, such as medical leave or short and long-term disability absences? Yes! Long term temporaries are our specialty.

What skills are tested when you evaluate a candidate? All candidates are tested on basic grammar, math and matching skills. All Banner offices are also equipped with the Qwiz Skills Evaluation system which evaluates typing, data entry and software proficiency.

What is Banner's screening process? Each candidate meets with a Banner consultant for an in-depth interview to clarify skills, abilities and career goals. Appropriate skills are tested and references are checked.
