A Legacy of Success
Our Story
Banner Personnel Service opened its doors on September 28, 1970, when Jim Singer decided to purchase a Chicago employment agency. The company’s initial focus was placing fresh college graduates into management trainee positions, but Banner continued to grow and add further specialties. Jim’s wife, Emel, ran the company after his death until her retirement in 2012.
Under new ownership, Banner is now celebrating over 50 years in business. With a firm conviction that only the “right match” will do, our team of staffing professionals listen to the employment needs of our applicants and our client companies to match an individual’s experience and educational background to the client’s job description and corporate culture.
As a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) certified by the City of Chicago, Banner is a full-service placement firm specializing in support professionals, sales and marketing, industrial, medical, and accounting and finance. We continue to provide qualified temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire talent to hundreds of clients in the Chicago metropolitan area with offices located in Chicago, Libertyville, and Naperville.
